Who we are

We’re Chase Givan and Kyrie Frey, and we’re proud to call Kremmling home. After spending years cooking in some of Colorado’s most iconic restaurants, resorts, and lodges, we’re bringing our passion for great food back to the small-town community we love.

Chase has spent over 20 years as a chef, working everywhere from fine dining kitchens and golf courses to ski resorts and colleges. Along the way, he’s taught culinary students at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge and, in 2019, was honored as Chef of the Year at Vail Resorts for his work at the renowned Alpenglow Stube and his dedication to training apprentices.

Kyrie is also an accomplished chef, with experience at celebrated spots like Ski Tip Lodge, The Ranch in Keystone, and Rootstalk in Breckenridge. Together, we share not just a love for food, but also a love for the mountains and the lifestyle that comes with them. When we’re not in the kitchen, you’ll find us fishing, hunting, skiing, or jeeping our way through Colorado’s backcountry.

Burger Barn is our way of combining years of culinary expertise with a hometown feel—serving up delicious smash burgers, ice cream, and good times right here in Kremmling. We’re excited to share our passion with our neighbors, family, and friends, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our table.
